It's surprising how many different fruits you can produce in the Dominican Republic! At the Centro Verde we have more than 70 different fruits; some wild plants, all others planted.
We have a lot of variety in fruits, but only a few bushes of each. Our trees don't produce much because the soil is eroded by slash and burn cultivation, and we still don't have animals at the Green Center for composting manure. Step by step we go!
